Under Armour was in search of a new look and the brand’s hometown store in Baltimore became our lab. We pushed to strengthen the relationship between the product and consumer, and how that would ultimately transform into something spatial. At the store entry, a decompression zone invites the consumer to explore the featured apparel lineup with LED-lit encasements and printed acrylic panels displaying product information and brand assets. Taking cues from overarching brand guidelines and their lighthouse research laboratory, we designed window displays, retail zones, and large stand alone fixtures that put a spotlight on their products and highlight their message.
